‘Aspiration’ is a word that is often used when we talk about perfect Rolex replica watches. Something that shows others who we are, where we’re at, and the direction we’re heading in. What a Rolex says is something a little different, things like ‘I’ve made it’, ‘catch me if you can’ and ‘I bet you wouldn’t mind being me?!’
The UK 1:1 fake Rolex GMT-Master II ‘Pepsi’ watches is one of the most coveted Rolex models – even people who don’t know anything about watches have heard of the ‘Pepsi’. The nickname (which, by the way, is totally unofficial – you’ll never hear Rolex calling it a Pepsi) comes from its red and blue bezel. These days, the GMT-Master II comes in a number of different bezel colour combinations, but red and blue is the OG colourway.
It’s a GMT watch, which means it can tell the time in multiple time zones – a very practical complication, especially if you travel frequently. Indeed, the Rolex copy watches for men was originally designed in collaboration with Pan American Airways (maybe Frank Abagnale owned one) for use by their pilots and navigators back in 1954.
IMHO, the Pepsi GMT or Daytona are the ‘best-looking’ Swiss movements Rolex replica watches available today and great for resale as everyone wants them, even in a bad economy.
The top Rolex Submariner replica watches UK is arguably the most recognisable watch on the planet – a classic Rolex, first introduced in 1954, it was the first watch on the market to boast a water resistance of 100m.
Featuring a black Cerachrom bezel insert and a sleek black dial with large luminescent hour markers, it’s designed to be as functional underwater as it is stylish above it, and while few professional divers wear Submariners on the job these days, it remains one of the most popular luxury dive Rolex super clone watches for men on the market.
The ‘no date’ alternative is a great watch for under $15,000, provided you can get one.
Swiss movements fake Rolex Oyster Perpetual watches, Rolex’s entry-level model. Available in a wide variety of case sizes, dial finishes and materials, it’s a no-nonsense time-only piece that is as close to ‘affordable’ as a Rolex gets.
If you’ve got a smaller wrist or prefer a more understated look, this plain jain in a 36mm case is the copy Rolex watches wholesale UK for you. Its minimalist dial and pared-back design make it the ultimate everyday watch, with no date window or cyclops to clutter things up. But actually, that’s what makes it so cool. It’s the epitome of stealth wealth.

Fake Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ghost Watches
Reference Number: 126519LN Case Size: 40mm Material: White gold Bracelet: Oysterflex Price: $53,600 AUD
Ahh, the luxury replica Rolex Daytona watches. Rolex’s famous chronograph is inarguably the brand’s most sought-after model and waiting lists for stainless steel examples like this one are as much as 5 years long.
For motor enthusiasts, the Rolex Daytona ‘Ghost’ is a grail watch if there ever was one. The sleek, monochromatic look of this model gives it an almost stealthy presence, yet it’s instantly recognisable to those in the know. As it happens, Paul Newman’s personal Rolex Daytona holds the record for the most expensive Rolex fake watches online site and third most expensive watch ever, having sold at auction back in 2017 for a whopping $17.75 million USD (~$27.5 million AUD).
The total market value of all perfect Rolex Submariner replica watches ever made is almost US$50 billion (RM223.4 billion), based on analysis of the first-ever release of production data by the Swiss watchmaker.
Nearly four million UK 1:1 fake Rolex Submariner and Sea Dweller diving watches were produced between 1953 and 2020, according to a company-authorised book entitled Submariner: The Watch that Unlocked the Deep.
Subdial, a UK-based second-hand trading platform, estimated that at current prices those best Rolex copy watches are worth about US$46 billion. That figure rises closer to US$50 billion if Submariners made after 2020 are included.
The figures underscore the value retention of some top China replica Rolex watches. Scores of models trade above their retail prices on the secondary market even though Rolex makes more than one million timepieces per year, according to analyst estimates.
The Submariner, produced for more than 70 years, was designed for deep-sea divers, though it’s now more often seen on wrists of Wall Street or City of London traders. The current version traces its appearance back to the original model created in 1953.
“When I close my eyes and think of Rolex, the Rolex super clone watches for sale that appears in my mind’s eye is the Submariner,” said Eric Wind, a Florida-based vintage watch dealer who previously worked for auction house Christie’s.
Rarer Submariners can retain value better than higher-production models. The total value of a version collectors dubbed “The Hulk,” with a green dial and bezel, briefly overtook the comparable standard model during the market frenzy for pre-owned luxury Swiss Rolex replica watches in 2022, even though Rolex made only half as many from 2010 through 2020, the Subdial data show.
To be sure, the market value estimate for all the cheap online replica Rolex dive watches ever produced presumed that the nearly four million timepieces are still in existence. Many certainly have been lost or discarded, or are no longer working or repairable.
Still, “the mind boggles to think what US$46 billion of Submariners means,” Subdial co-founder Christy Davis said, adding that Rolex has created a “cash cow model” without detracting from the allure of the Swiss made fake Rolex watches.
Rolex overall dominates a secondary market for used luxury timepieces estimated to grow to US$35 billion annually by 2030, according to Deloitte.
Of the watches in the Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks prices for the 50 most-traded models by value, 45 are Rolex. The index fell 0.6% in October as Rolex and Audemars Piguet declined to offset gains by Patek Philippe.
By brand, Richemont’s Cartier was the biggest decliner, falling 1.8% during the month. Swatch Group AG’s Omega showed the strongest gains, rising 0.6%.
Rolex has a vested interest in the second-hand market, as it recently started selling used models through its certified pre-owned programme.
Still, just 1% of all its best quality Rolex copy watches made are for sale at any given time, according to Subdial and other major sellers. Even though models including the Daytona chronograph have captured more attention with recent price increases, for collectors and dealers like Wind, the Submariner stands out.
“It’s the watch so many people choose to buy with their first bonus check,” Wind said.
This week, we jump into the world of the vintage models that came before the iconic watches we know today. Some have the same cases and dials with one simple difference: the famous names we know today were not printed on the dials. Others, however, are notably different perfect Rolex replica watches that preceded the famous Rolex icons that would follow. It’s time to discover more about these Rolex “pre-icon” models.
Before we get into our list, it’s important to clarify that some of the watches featured here are indeed considered part of the lineage of Rolex’s most famous watches. As mentioned, the simple absence of the name on the dial can be reason enough to feature a watch on this list, so please remember that we use the “pre-icon” term lightly. As we’ll see, most of these online Rolex fake watches UK sell for high prices because Rolex fans place great value on anomalies, and the market reflects that. But you will see that some of them are among the best watches that Rolex has ever created. So, without further ado, let’s jump in.
Replica Rolex (Pre-)Explorer ref. 6150 Watches
Let’s kick this list off with the Rolex ref. 6150, which was produced in 1952 and 1953 and is also known as the “Pre-Explorer.” Interestingly, Rolex produced this reference alongside the first high quality fake Rolex Explorer ref. 6350 watches. The latter featured the “Explorer” text on the dial, but the former did not. But it is indeed a very similar watch. It features the same 35.5mm case with the instantly recognizable black 3-6-9 dial that we now call the “Explorer dial.” In terms of readability, Rolex hit the nail on the head with this one.
But the dial of the ref. 6150 is different from that of the first Explorer. The dial of the Pre-Explorer features the wording “Rolex Oyster Perpetual” on the upper half and “Precision” on the lower half. The dial of the first Explorer ref. 6350 featured “Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer” on the upper half and “Officially Certified Chronometer” on the lower half. Besides the different dials, the movement is the other main difference between the two references.
The same movement but not a certified chronometer
Inside the case of the best Swiss copy Rolex ref. 6150 watches, you will find the self-winding caliber A296, which also powers the ref. 6350. The main difference is that Rolex fine-tuned the movements of the ref. 6350 to allow them to meet the chronometer certification standards. As you will understand, this explains the text on the lower half of the first Explorer’s dial. However, if you know your Explorer history, you’ll know that not all dials of the Pre-Explorer lack the “Explorer” designation. There are ref. 6150s that have it, but they are very uncommon.
As you will expect, any of these references and variations are rare. And “rare” in the Rolex universe means “expensive.” Expect to see asking prices for a Pre-Explorer 6150 start at roughly €35K and move up to €75K for pieces in good condition. Examples in great condition or ones with a special story can be found at auction and easily fetch even more. That’s no surprise because the first Explorers take you back to the exciting days right after Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay had summited Mt. Everest.
Fake Rolex Submariner ref. 6200 Watches
It’s only a small step to our second pick, the 1:1 wholesale replica Rolex Submariner ref. 6200 watches. Enthusiasts will understand why immediately. The Rolex Submariner ref. 6200 is the famous “King Sub” that features an Explorer dial with the same 3-6-9 layout as the first watch on our list.
The reason this reference is nicknamed the “King Sub” is because it was the first Submariner with the 8mm “big crown” with the “Brevet” signature. Other Submariners with this oversized crown were the ref. 6538 that Sean Connery wore as James Bond and the ref. 5510. It goes without saying that these luxury UK Rolex replica watches are tremendously popular with collectors.
The ref. 6200 came with two dial variations. The first features just the Rolex logo, brand name, and “Oyster Perpetual” on the upper half of the dial. However, the second does feature the Submariner name on the lower half of the dial. Rolex produced the ref. 6200 from 1955 to 1956, and the Swiss made fake Rolex watches featured a slightly thicker 38mm case than its predecessors.
Combining the case and the crown resulted in a 200m depth rating. Inside the case, Rolex equipped the watch with its caliber A296, which also powered the Pre-Explorer we just looked at. The look was completed with a famous riveted Oyster bracelet, making this a true classic. Rolex produced a total of 303 pieces of the ref. 6200, which makes it one of the rarest Rolex Submariners out there.
Rolex Submariner ref. 6205 Replica Watches
Our next pick is another Submariner reference. The 6205 came out in 1954, and the early dials did not feature the “Submariner” text on them. The cheap replica Rolex watches was in production for only a year, and during that time, Rolex made 810 examples of this reference. Keeping that in mind, you will understand that the number of 6205s with “Submariner-less” dials is quite low.
The Rolex super clone watches for men had a 38mm stainless steel case with a small crown and was water resistant to 100 meters. This reference is one of the so-called “Small Crown Submariners,” and it housed Rolex’s caliber A260. The movement is generally considered an upgrade from the A296 that powered the ref. 6200. The first 6205s had pencil hands, like the example in these pictures, while the later 6205s featured Mercedes hands. However, most of the dials without the “Submariner” text are combined with the former.
Nowadays, the Rolex Submariner ref. 6205 is mostly found at auctions and sells for huge sums of money. Most go for anywhere between €100K and €200K, while some examples in pristine condition go for even more. While the Rolex ref. 6204 is known as the first Submariner, the ref. 6205 without “Submariner” on the dial is the rarer and more sought-after watch.
Rolex “Pre-Daytona” ref. 6238 Fake Watches
The next watch is my favorite one on this list. It’s even one of my top three vintage Rolex replica watches store overall, sitting alongside the Explorer II ref. 1655 and the GMT-Master ref. 1675. Two years ago, I wrote a love letter about the Rolex Chronograph ref. 6238 “Pre-Daytona.” In it, I detailed why I love the watch so much. The style, the legendary movement, and the different versions Rolex produced make for a brilliant watch. On top of that, it’s the only watch on this list that strictly qualifies as a pre-icon because it was the predecessor of the iconic Daytona.
The Swiss movements Rolex copy watches was produced from 1962 until 1968 and led to the introduction of the Daytona ref. 6239. Having said that, there was an overlap in production with the Daytona, which debuted in 1963. However, there is a clear reason people refer to it as the “Pre-Daytona.” Simply, it bridged the gap in style between the old-school Rolex chronographs from the 1950s and the more modern style of the Daytona. The ref. 6238 had a 36mm case with a smooth bezel and the tachymeter scale printed on the dial.
The “Pre-Daytona” ref. 6238 bridged the gap
Over the six years that the 6238 was in production, Rolex supposedly made 3,500 pieces in stainless steel. Additionally, the brand produced a small number in yellow gold and rose gold. Where it gets a little more complicated is the number of dial variations. Rolex released no fewer than 14 executions. The steel models came with silver, gray, and black dials, each with a distinct vibe. My favorites are the gray- and black-dial versions, but they are also the hardest to find. The silver-dial version is by far the easiest to track down.
Rolex first equipped these best quality fake Rolex watches with the legendary Valjoux 72. Later versions, however, housed the updated Valjoux 722. The iconic chronograph movement also powered the famous Daytona that followed and chronographs from Breitling, Heuer, Longines, Gallet, and Universal Genève.
If you ask me, this is the best chronograph that Rolex ever created. While it is nicknamed the “Pre-Daytona,” I prefer it over any vintage Daytona. Regarding asking prices, expect them to start at €35K and increase to €200K for a steel version with a black dial or one of the gold models. It’s a lot of money, but that will get you a legendary watch.
Talk about legendary watches! Our last pick is the first-generation China replica Rolex Daytona ref. 6239 watches that followed the “Pre-Daytona” I just talked about. Rolex connoisseurs will know that multiple Daytona references feature dials without the Daytona name. But it only makes sense that we pick the first reference. If you mention the ref. 6239 to watch fans, most people will immediately think of the “Paul Newman” models. But before the Exotic dials came out, Rolex introduced the regular versions without the “Daytona” text. The reason is simple: the name came resulted from Rolex sponsoring the 24 Hours of the Daytona. However, that partnership only started after the introduction of the ref. 6239.
The watch featured a 37mm stainless steel case with a steel tachymeter bezel and pump-style pushers. Rolex introduced the watch with a black dial with silver sub-dials, a white dial with black sub-dials, and a silver dial with black sub-dials. Early versions of these, of course, lacked the “Daytona” text. To be perfectly honest, I always thought placing the model name above the register at 6 o’clock was not the best choice.
Proof of that came in the form of dials that have “Daytona” on the upper half, underneath “Cosmograph.” Dials without “Daytona” on them look super clean, and they nicely link the watch to the Pre-Daytona ref. 6238.
A legend for a reason
Inside the case, you will find the Valjoux caliber 722. This manual-winding column-wheel chronograph operated at 18,000vph and had 17 jewels and a 48-hour power reserve. As mentioned, it is a legendary movement found in many cult-classic fake Rolex watches for sale. But to a more general audience, it is the famous caliber that powered the manual-winding Daytonas.
The first-generation Daytona is one of the industry’s icons, and you will see that reflected in the prices. As you would expect, the non-Exotic-dial versions are more “affordable,” with asking prices ranging between roughly €50K and €125K. That price range will hold versions with and without “Daytona” on the dial. I prefer these or, even better, one with the “Daytona” text on the upper half of the dial.
Final thoughts on the list of top five Rolex “pre-icon” models
There you have it — our list of the top five Rolex replica watches shop that do not physically bear the famous names we know today. As always, this list could have been longer as multiple references do not feature the model names on their dials. Some more examples are the Daytona ref. 6264 and ref. 6265. Additionally, there is an interesting story behind the Rolex ref. 5500, which is known as an Air-King. However, that’s not where it ends because we also know there are versions with a 3-6-9 dial that are essentially smaller-sized Explorers.
This guide explains the Rolex Oyster bracelet, especially as it pertains to the Submariner dive watch. It will compliment our other guides on collecting your first best Rolex replica watches as well as on digging into the nitty-gritty of neo-vintage, vintage and pre-owned Rolex.
While collecting UK AAA Rolex fake watches like the Rolex GMT Master, the Daytona, Submariner and others will always be the main focus—and even though the prices on Rolex sport watches have been falling lately as pandemic collectors leave the scene—the “correct” or “incorrect” Oyster bracelet can make or break a specific Rolex acquisition. Condition is one thing: Those loose pins that hold the links together can cause the bracelet to sag and rattle, or even fall apart. However, for collectors it’s even more important that the Oyster bracelet historically matches the watch you’re collecting—that it is, as the Rollie-heads say, “correct for that reference.” If you’re going to collect Rolex, and especially the Submariner, it’s paramount to understand the Oyster bracelet for this reason.
While some might argue that the Jubilee bracelet is just as iconic than the Oyster bracelet, and the President bracelet more refined, none can deny the ubiquity of the Oyster design. Indeed, it’s been copied by more watch companies than perhaps any other bracelet, and the Oyster bracelet continues to be used on top 1:1 Rolex copy watches across the brand’s catalog. Seventy-plus years after its introduction, owning one is still considered a rite of passage amongst collectors.
Instantly recognizable for its three-piece links, robust construction, and flowing lines, the Oyster bracelet has been successfully paired with myriad Swiss made replica Rolex watches since its introduction in the 1940s—though we would argue that its best and most famous partnership has always been with the Submariner, Rolex’s flagship dive watch. Because while a Sub on a NATO strap, a rubber strap, or even on leather or a Jubilee bracelet is still a Sub, one paired with an Oyster bracelet is an icon.
“The Oyster bracelet is arguably one of the keys to Rolex’s success since the 1940s and 1950s,” says noted vintage watch dealer and expert Eric Wind. “It was integral with the birth of the Submariner, Explorer, GMT-Master, and Daytona. While it was originally a design by Gay Frères in the 1930s, it really found its calling with Rolex adopting it on those sport models in the 1950s and 1960s. It has evolved to go from thin rivet models to the solid, much heavier Oyster bracelets we know today.”
Without delving too far into the weeds of every minute change to the Oyster bracelet over the years (and there have been many of those), we’re going to examine those references that were specifically paired to the Submariner. This guide should up your Rolex collecting game considerably. Perhaps the next time you glance down at the cheap fake Rolex dive watches on your wrist, you’ll be inclined to pay this humble hunk of metal the respect it deserves.
A Brief History of the Oyster Bracelet
Initially, China 2024 Rolex super clone watches were sold on leather straps, with bracelets being an add-on accessory that could considerably raise the final price—in the 1930s, for example, customers could choose the Bonklip-style bracelet from Switzerland’s premier bracelet producer, Gay Frères. This Bonklip bracelet had lightweight steel links and straight end links. As Gay Frères was then an independent company, many other brands’ watches were also available on such bracelets. (Note that in 1998, when Rolex acquired Gay Frères in its entirety, the Oyster bracelet became an entirely in-house, Swiss-made product.)
Yet, as with many things Rolex, the Oyster bracelet didn’t emerge fully formed from the Earth’s womb on a single day to the fanfare of trumpets and the singing of angels. Rather, the Oyster bracelet evolved throughout the early part of the 20th century, taking the form of iterative configurations. This is where a collector needs to start paying close attention, as making sure you’ve got the right bracelet is as important as matching the paperwork and box to your collectible watch.
The Oyster Bracelet With Straight End-Links (1948-1951)
In 1945, Rolex replica watches UK for sale patented the Jubilee bracelet, which celebrated the maison’s 40th anniversary. Just a few years later, in 1947, it followed this up by patenting the Oyster, which made its first appearance in the Rolex catalog in 1948. A simple design consisting of three links—the center link being wider than the flanking pieces—it first featured straight end links. This made it easy to affix to a variety of watch models, but the overall effect was a less custom-seeming and form-fitting bracelet.
At first, it was chronographs and the famed “Bubblebacks” that received these Oyster bracelets. (The “Bubbleback,” so called due to its protruding caseback, was an early version of the waterproof, automatic, Swiss movements fake Rolex Oyster Perpetual watches.)
The Oyster Bracelet with Curved End Links (1952)
In 1952, however, the Crown introduced curved, form-fitting end links, marking a significant change that saw the Oyster bracelet produced in a variety of references for different watch models, including the Submariner, GMT-Master, and Explorer. At this time bracelets were sometimes made in the U.S.A. or Mexico for tax reasons, but since Rolex’s 1998 acquisition of Gay Frères Oyster bracelets are purportedly all Swiss-made.
First Generation Oyster Bracelets on the Submariner (1953-1966)
When viewed head-on, Oyster bracelets from the ‘50s through the modern era look rather similar—but turn one on its side, and the differences become more apparent. With the launch of the Rolex Submariner replica watches online site in 1953, two bracelets were offered that represent the earliest iterations of the now-famous accessory.
Oyster Bracelet 7206 Riveted “Flushfit”
The reference 7206 was a riveted model with “Flushfit” end links, in which each hollow link is held together with a visible rivet.
Oyster Bracelet 7206 Stretch-Rivet “Flushfit”
Another option was the 6636 “stretch-rivet” model (also with “Flushfit” end links), which has an ingenious, spring-loaded mechanism that allows each link to separate slightly from its neighbors. (The stretch-rivet bracelet, in production from roughly 1953-1966, had a tendency to catch hair in between the links and proved not to be terribly sturdy.) Both of these models featured a fold-over clasp with a large Rolex coronet.
Second Generation Oyster Bracelet with Folded Links (1967-Mid 1970s)
By roughly 1967, the reference 7836 “folded-link” Oyster bracelet joined the market, replacing the earlier rivet-style models. Rather than a hollow link held together with rivets, the folded-link consists of a piece of steel folded over on itself several times, which is inherently stronger than the rivet design.
Note that the reference 9315 from roughly 1969, introduced on the Sea-Dweller and Submariner, featured a special diver clasp, while the reference 9316, from the same time and also with a diver clasp, was seen only on the Swiss 1:1 copy Rolex Sea-Dweller watches.
Third Generation Oyster Bracelet with Solid Links (1972-2000)
In the mid-1970s—1972 by some collectors’ estimation, slightly later by others—the folded-link Oyster bracelets had been replaced by the first solid-link versions, which constitute the most robust (and still-used) of Rolex’s sport bracelet designs. Adding a zero to the previous generation reference numbers results in the reference 78360, which featured a folding clasp.
The reference 93150, which featured a diver clasp, shipped on the Submariner and was available as an option on the GMT-Master and Explorer, as well.
The reference 93160 likewise featured a diver clasp and was paired with the Sea-Dweller.
Fourth Generation Oyster Bracelet with Solid End Links (2000-2010)
Around the turn of the millennium, Rolex began outfitting its Oyster bracelets with solid end links, which made for a more solid attachment point to the watch head. While Rolex replica watches shop previously featured holes in the side of each lug through which a tool could be used to eject the spring bars and remove the bracelet, the brand did away with these holes around 2003-2004, which resulted in another change to the end link design.
End links, it should be noted, have their own numerical coding designation, allowing one to easily check whether a set is “correct” for a given bracelet or watch reference.
Fifth Generation Oyster Bracelet with Oysterlock and Glidelock (2010-present)
Today, the Oyster bracelet references available with the best quality Rolex Submariner replica watches are the 92700 (Submariner) and 97200/97203/97208/97209 (Submariner Date). What are the differences? The metal used in the bracelet, which is denoted by the last number in the code: Watches and matching bracelets are available in: Steel (Oystersteel), Everose gold and steel, yellow gold and steel, rose gold, platinum, yellow gold, and white gold.
The Oysterlock, which comes standard on the Submariner bracelet, uses a folding safety clasp, cover, and safety catch, while the Glidelock extension system allows the bracelet length to be extended in 2 mm intervals in order to fit over a wetsuit—or even a swollen wrist after a flight or a salty meal.
Rolex Submariner Oyster Bracelets and Specs at a Glance
With Watches and Wonders as well as the spring auction season behind us, the watch market is calm and steady. And, generally speaking, 2024 is turning out to be a relatively stable year for perfect UK Rolex replica watches. Prices are down, and supply is up—and that spells “buyer’s market.” This is especially true of pre-owned Rolex.
As collectors, the problem with market-wide predictions and recommendations—and even simple observations—is that individual brands, models and even specific references can be moving in directions at odds with the general market. In May this year I noted that pre-owned Cartier and Breitling had dropped in value during Q1, and yet the Cartier Panthère rose 19.51 percent, while the Breitling Navitimer went up 18 percent. So, when people ask if it’s a good time to buy a watch, I always answer, “Depends on which watch.” We offer this caveat for Rolex, as well, and will use data to home in on the good deals.
Despite a few notable anomalies (which you’ll find below), right now is an excellent time to buy vintage, neo-vintage and, especially, recent-model pre-owned AAA 2024 fake Rolex sports watches. Using Chrono 24’s ChronoPulse watch market index to gain better insight, we are seeing anecdotal remarks from across the wwatch world confirmed by data. Even in the past month alone (August of 2024), the prices have continued on a steady fall.
We spoke with Eric Wind of Wind Vintage to get his feel for the current Rolex market, and he told us that, “People don’t realize they can suddenly go buy modern top Rolex replica watches for less than it would cost at retail. There was all this hysteria, and so that surprises people. Especially Subs and Sea-Dwellers, those are way down.”
If you know which references to look for and how to assess condition, you can walk away with a Rolex Submariner, GMT-Master, Explorer II, or Oyster Perpetual 41 for far less than you would have just a couple years ago—in some cases, thousands less. And if you’re thinking of the purchase as an investment, you would do well to consider neo-vintage Rolex right now.
A fair warning from Eric Wind: “Even a very recent Rolex needs to be checked out before you go swimming with it. People assume that because it’s a modern Rolex, it’ll be waterproof, but you need to get it checked out.” His point is well taken, as rubber gaskets can wear out, and you can’t be sure whether the previous owner didn’t overwork the crown, or whether the best Rolex copy watches was recently serviced.
With warnings and caveats in place, let’s get into this buyer’s market.
Neo-Vintage and Current Model Subs
The five-digit 1:1 wholesale Rolex Submariner replica watches (1980-2000s) are very tasty in style due to the aluminum bezel inserts—and if they’re dated before 1984-ish, you’ll get matte dials with painted markers for full-on vintage vibes (post-1983 Subs feature gloss dials with white gold marker surrounds). To get a sense of where the five-digit Subs are headed, ChronoPulse reports that the Submariner reference 16610 (which is post-1984 with glossy dial, gold indices, and caliber 3135) is down by about 10 percent over the last 12 months, putting many examples well below $10,000. We’ve even seen a few decent examples below $8,000. You can expect to pay more for 16800s with matte dials, however, as they’re more “vintage.”
If you’re interested in the modern six-digit references with the Cerachom (ceramic) bezel inserts and updated movements, you’ll be pleased to learn that the cheap fake Rolex Submariner reference 124060 watches (the current no-date version released in 2020) is down by abour 5 percent percent over the past year, according to the ChronoPulse Index. If you want a date complication, the current reference 126610LN is down by four percent. This sets these desirable models right around retail prices (plus tax). This is a common benchmark for used pricing. The 126610 with date can cost right around $13,000 with box and papers as of this writing, and the 124060 no-date model can be had for just over $10,000.
Maybe scoring a sub at retail isn’t quite the great deal is seemed just a few years ago.
Surprisingly, the all-green “Hulk” reference 116610 of 2010—which was once downright scarce a few years ago—just shot down, as well. During the pandemic you’d be paying over $26,000 for a Hulk, but now they’re available for below $17,000. Shocking, really.
True Vintage Submariners
Though ChronoPulse doesn’t report data on the four-digit references (World War II to ~1979), we’d recommend looking at the revered 1680 Swiss movements Rolex Submariner replica watches with date, which Rolex produced with “SUBMARINER” written in either red text or white. The revered “Red Sub” always costs more. We’re seeing good looking 1680s with white text down around $14,000, while Red Subs closer to $20,000 and up. You can check out a recent edition of our weekly column Shopping Time for some excellent deals on vintage Subs.
A caveat: Vintage prices tend to operate on their own calculus, as trends (and thus supply), as well as condition, drive that market in less predictable ways. In short, you’ll see a very wide variation in pricing, though the trend is generally down.
The Five-Digit GMT-Master II Is Looking Reasonable (Again)
The coveted China top fake Rolex GMT-Master II models are also down, but the changes are less drastic than with the Subs. Discontinued models like the steel reference 126710LN “Pepsi” on Jubilee bracelet appears to be holdin steady, but five-digit reference 16710 Pepsi GMT-Master II models are down by over seven percent over past 12 months. This means you’ll pay under $10,000 for a nice GMT Master II. That’s way down, and given the rising prices of Rolex super clone watches for sale generally, not a horrible deal at all.
Condition of five-digit GMT-Master II references is especially influential on pricing. The fading of the bezel insert tends to send some collectors head-over-heals if it’s especially ghosted (sun bleached), while excessive case polishing (which was common in the five-digit era) will drive prices downward. All this to say, there’s a wide range of pricing for GMT-Master II references, but if you’re looking for a very cool watch to wear every day, a relatively clean one can be had under $10,000.
Explorer II Prices Falling
If there’s a collector’s Rolex, it is the 40 mm Swiss made replica Rolex Explorer II 16570 watches, especially with a “polar” (white) dial. These have always been the less desirable GMTs from Rolex, but they’re very popular with watch enthusiasts, partly because they were reasonably priced. As it turns out, the 40 mm 16570 with a black dial is down over the past year, but fluctuates a bit more than other models (likely due to recent journalism on the 16570, as well as growing demand for smaller watches). Meanwhile the six-digit 42 mm 226570 is also significantly in the same time period.
You can always expect to pay more for white dials than black ones with Explorer II references, but the prices are really down: Around $8000 for a black dial, and as little as $8500 for a white dial as of this writing. As always, condition, service history and box and papers will be important.
Big Datejusts Down, Little Datejusts Up
A 41 mm Rolex Datejust copy watches UK for sale used to be a really big deal to own, but tastes have decidedly changed toward smaller watches, and even toward small dress watches. We are fairly confident that these trends have driven prices for the 41 mm Datejust down a full 14 percent over the past year, which really is a stunning result. Meanwhile, the 36 mm Datejust is up by 55 over 12 months, and continues to spike. Who would have guessed this?
The Datejust’s impressive performance may also indicate the growing preference for dressier Rolex replica watches shop. Based on anecdotal reports from fellow collectors, that assessment feels right. (Note: ChronoPulse doesn’t offer data on the 36 mm Oyster Perpetuals.)
The Daytona, Milgauss, and More
I think the picture we’re painting, supported by data, is relatively clear: This is a Rolex buyer’s market, with some exceptions for specific models.
For example, steel best quality Rolex Daytona fake watches remain expensive overall (roughly double what you’d pay at retail for a Daytona), and yet the Rolex Daytona 116500LN from 2016 is down over 12 percent over since this time last year. Even the discontinued Milgauss 116400GV is down four percent in that time. Daytonas and discontinued models going down is a clear sign of the buyer’s market.
As with buying any pre-owned watch: Do your research, find a great example, and take note of whether you’re looking at an anomaly that shot up in price, or if you’re getting a good deal because that model’s price has fallen. Artisans de Genève is known for its astounding customized AAA Rolex replica watches that unite storytelling, artisanal craftsmanship while respecting the history of watch Maisons. The latest project to be unveiled by the Swiss workshop is the “Heart of Namibia,” an elegant piece reimagined from UK perfect fake Rolex Submariner 116610 watches.
Lending its name from Namibia in South Africa, the dial of the cheap 1:1 replica Rolex watches is crafted from a real meteorite stone that was found in its namesake region. Not only has it been cut and refined to merely 0.3mm in thickness, but the material also has to undergo a chemical treatment for its natural patterns and striations to be revealed.
This is matched with an in-house moon phase display starring a midnight blue aventurine sky and mother-of-pearl moon for the high quality Rolex copy watches. Composed of 28 components, this complication is developed, manufactured, decorated and finished by hand at Artisans de Genève.
A new Dark Night Blue ceramic bezel insert is fitted to complement its new color schemes, while parts of the watchcase of the top 2024 Rolex replica watches are laser-engraved with a grainy effect. Bryson DeChambeau’s perfect Rolex replica watches was impossible to miss as he hoisted the U.S. Open trophy at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina on Sunday.
The 30-year-old American, who narrowly defeated Rory McIlroy by a single stroke, showed off two-tone 1:1 UK fake Rolex Submariner “Bluesy” watches after his victory with a six-under 274 winning total.
Rolex unveiled the first two-tone high quality replica Rolex Submariner watches (Ref. 16803) in 1984, though DeChambeau’s piece (Ref. 126613LB) is part of a collection the Crown released in the fall of 2020. The fourth-generation best copy Rolex Submariner Date watches has a slightly larger case than the previous references—41 mm instead of 40 mm—and thinner, more refined lugs. It is also powered by a modern automatic movement (Caliber 3235) that provides an increased power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Prior references only offered 48 hours.
Other than that the design hasn’t changed greatly since the ‘80s. The fourth-gen cheap Rolex replica watches retains a two-tone colorway, with Oystersteel and yellow gold running across the case and Oyster bracelet. The unidirectional rotating bezel is still marked to 60 minutes, allowing divers to accurately and safely monitor diving time and decompression stops. As with all two-tone Swiss movements super clone Rolex Submariner watches, the bezel comes in black or blue. The two letters at the end of the reference number indicate the hue, with LN standing for Lunette Noir (French for “black bezel”) and LB short for Lunette Bleu (or “blue bezel”).
DeChambeau’s Ref. 126613LB showcases a Cerachrom bezel with blue ceramic inserts and a luminescent capsule on the zero marker to ensure legibility underwater. The Sub is water-resistant to 1,000 feet (300 meters). In addition, the top Rolex replica watches features a royal-blue dial with a luminescent Chromalight display designed to improve visibility in dark environments. The large luminescent hour markers and sizable hands also increase readability. The brand’s signature cyclops date window sits at 3 o’clock.
This particular Bluesy retails for $15,600, which is now chump change for DeChambeau. The total purse for the 2024 U.S. Open was a record $21.5 million, up from $20 million last year and the largest amount ever awarded in a men’s major championship. DeChambeau, who also won the U.S. Open during the pandemic in 2020, took home $4.3 million. That’s the second-largest winner’s check of the year, bested only by the $4.5 million sum Scottie Scheffler received for winning the Players Championship. Scheffler also scored a win with AAA Rolex Submariner fake watches on his wrist, so perhaps this Rollie brings good luck on the green.
Rolex replica watches for sale has closed its affiliate office in Sandton, Johannesburg, adding to the growing list of international companies that are scaling back or exiting South Africa.
As reported by News24, the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer is closing its office because the local markets and conjuncture have changed, no longer warranting the presence of an official AAA Rolex copy watches affiliate.
Despite planning to close its office in Sandton in June, the group’s cheap UK replica Rolex watches will still be available via its official retailer network.
Thus, perfect Rolex fake watches joins a long list of international companies that have recently made headlines for exiting the country.
The Rolex Watch Company South Africa opened its doors in 1948 in the centre of Johannesburg.
Rolex explained in a statement that it would remain active in the region through its official retailer network, ensuring that customers can still purchase and service high quality Rolex replica watches.
According to The Citizen, it is possible that smartwatches are making an impact on the 1:1 online fake Rolex watches market.
While wholesale Rolex super clone watches connoisseurs are mature buyers, and those who need to show off their wealth favour traditional watch brands, the tech-savvy and younger generations are inclined towards smartwatches.
Smartphone brands have been highly successful in the smartwatch market although traditional watch brands have not made an impact on the market apart from Tag Heuer with its Connected series.
The Genevan brand has created exceptional dials through the decades, with the stone dials being the most famous among many watch fans. Taking the step to stone dials this week was easy after checking out five gold Datejusts last Friday. Some of those perfect Rolex replica watches were available with brilliant stone dials, so that’s why we have picked our five favorites this time. This week, it’s not about specific Rolex models but the beauty of some amazing dials. Let’s find out more.
Rolex stone dials have become famous the world over. Collectors are willing to pay a premium for them, and honestly, we completely get it. Some of the stone dials are simply breathtaking. UK 1:1 Rolex fake watches introduced them in the 1970s, and they haven’t left the collection since. But stone dials are not just available for every model. Initially, dealers could order them on request for the Day-Date and the Datejust for an additional cost. Later, stone dials were also available for the Submariner and the Cosmograph Daytona, as you’ll see in this article. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at our favorite stone dials.
Rolex stone dials — Onyx
Let’s kick things off with a personal favorite. As some of you might know, I have a thing for the combination of black and yellow gold. Something magical about those two colors wins me over every time. While I love high quality replica Rolex Day-Date watches or, even better, a gold Datejust with a regular black dial, a black onyx dial is even more special.
It loses the indices and the minute track, resulting in a super clean and deep black dial. If you have ever seen a black onyx dial, you will understand what makes it so special. Forget about Vantablack, Acktar Black, or Black 4.0. Nothing beats a natural onyx stone.
The initial onyx dials were like those in the pictures and available for the Day-Date refs. 18038 and 18238. Later, Rolex offered black onyx dials with diamond-set 6 and 9 numerals. There was also the option of all diamond indices. But they remove the magic of the dials you see in the pictures. The Crown also used black onyx dials for its Submariner ref. 16618. They are scarce, as you would expect, and hard to distinguish from regular black Submariner dials.
Black onyx dials are the least rare and most popular in the Rolex universe. As you would expect, I perfectly understand why. Asking prices for pre-owned AAA Rolex Day-Date copy watches with an onyx dial are roughly between €40K and €50K.
Rolex stone dials — Malachite
Another favorite is malachite. Rolex started using this green stone for its dials in the 1970s, and it is still available today. The unique green hue and the wavy pattern make for a special dial that is only used for the China online replica Rolex Day-Date and the Datejust watches.
Just like with the initial onyx dials, Rolex removed the hour markers and the minute track so that customers could enjoy the stone to the fullest. We can quickly agree that diamond markers or any other additions to a dial like this take away from the impact and visual joy that Rolex stone dials should bring.
The best fake Rolex watches you see in the picture is a Rolex Datejust ref. 1601/8. This full-gold version of the famous Datejust reference is the perfect canvas for the malachite dial. Rolex would also use malachite in the same clean way for the Day-Date refs. 18038 and 18238. For later six-digit references of the Day-Date, you can also find malachite dials with Roman numerals.
As with the onyx dial, I feel other stone dials are special and best enjoyed without indices. A Datejust ref. 1601 with a malachite dial is difficult to find, especially on the bracelet. Expect to see prices around €50K. We also see similar asking prices for Day-Date refs. 18038 and 18238 with the clean malachite dials. What you get in return is truly something special.
Rolex stone dials — Lapis lazuli
You might recognize the watch in the pictures if you are a regular reader of our Top 5 series. I featured it in our list of the top five full-gold Rolex sports watches a few weeks ago. That list was all about the luxury replica Rolex Submariner ref. 16618 watches, which was available in full gold and looked amazing.
As explained in that article, Rolex offered the same reference with a black onyx dial and a beautiful lapis lazuli dial. While it is not the only Rolex available with a lapis lazuli dial, it is the most surprising and maybe even most impactful.
At first glance, the watch resembles a regular gold Submariner with a blue dial and a bezel. But as soon as you get closer, the brilliance of the dial stands out more and more. We had this very rare Submariner in the office some time ago, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. Robert-Jan wrote an article about the Swiss movements Rolex super clone watches, calling it his potential grail.
I can say that it has that power after seeing it in real life. The biggest issue? Submariners with a lapis lazuli dial are extremely rare and go for proper grail money. The same goes for the very few Daytonas fitted with a lapis lazuli dial. A Day-Date or Datejust with a lapis lazuli will be your best bet if you want one. Expect to see prices between roughly €30K and €60K for one of those.
Rolex stone dials — Tiger eye
The tiger eye dial is another Rolex stone dial that must be on this list. While most of us probably associate the words “tiger eye” with the illustrious Rolex GMT-Master “Root Beer,” the actual tiger eye dial might be more impressive. Its unique look is instantly recognizable.
It has a very specific presence that, combined with the Swiss 2024 replica Rolex Datejust and Day-Date watches, creates a true statement of ’70s bliss. Having said that, the tiger eye dials were not exclusive to the 1970s; they simply have a look reminiscent of that era.
Unlike many other models, tiger eye dials were only available for yellow gold Datejusts and Day-Dates. I think it’s a match made in heaven as a tiger eye dial in combination with white gold or rose gold would be a mismatch. Additionally, all tiger eye dials have no hour markers or minute track, so Rolex kept them as pure as possible. Admittedly, however, reading the time on these dials can sometimes be hard since gold hands do not contrast strongly with the tiger eye.
But what these dials sometimes lack in practicality, they make up for in style and character. Unlike the previous stone dials, a tiger eye dial is not as expensive. Expect prices for a gold Datejust with a tiger eye dial to start under €20K on a leather strap. On a bracelet, the asking prices range roughly from €25K to €35K. A Rolex Day-Date with a tiger eye dial goes for significantly more, starting at roughly €40K and moving up to €60K for some.
Rolex stone dials — Coral
Our last pick is technically not a stone dial. While Rolex made it part of its stone dial options, coral is formed through a biological process and is an organic gem. But that won’t spoil our fun as the coral dials are something else. The coral dials Rolex uses for its Rolex fake watches wholesale are a beautiful shade of orange.
Combined with yellow gold, it makes for another stunning ’70s style statement that is hard to beat. These special dials are predominantly found in the Genevan brand’s best quality replica Rolex Day-Date watches. The Datejust models with coral dials were Lady-Datejust versions, not the classic 36mm references.
Like most of the previous Rolex stone dials, the brand also removed the hour markers and the minute track on the initial coral dials. By doing so, the dial makes a great impact. These dials are rather rare and also very popular. As a result, they are among the most expensive stone dials out there. Expect asking prices to start around €40K and move up quickly for ones in great condition.
What you get in return is unique in more than one way. Not only are the color and texture unique, but because this is technically not a stone dial, it is one of those Rolex anomalies that collectors love. Who are we to disagree? But most of all, we love the look of the precious coral dials.
Final thoughts on the top five Rolex stone dials
There you have it — our favorite Rolex stone dials in no particular order. Obviously, there are a lot more stone dials that we could have picked. That’s why we are curious to find out what some of your favorites are.
